An educational activity about the division of Kaunas hard labour prison, which operated in the Ninth Fort during the interwar period. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the structure, internal rules and punishment system of the prison. The daily life of the prisoners, their daily routine and work and life conditions are revealed by authentic spaces and exhibits, as well as informative narration by the educator. Additional attention is paid to the illegal publications possessed and distributed by political prisoners and the identification of the press. Using a code created by the prisoners, participants aim to unravel the mystery of how and where the political prisoners hid illegal press from the prison guards during the search.
