Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum is near the highways Klaipėda-Kaunas (A1) and Via Baltica Kaunas-Marijampolė (E67). Adress: Žemaičių plentas 75, Kaunas.

If you come by car, choose the direction of Marijampolė over Kaunas western bypass. A road sign will direct you to a place of interest “IX fortas” (“The Ninth Fort”). The object nearest to the entrance to the territory of the Ninth Fort Museum is Mercedes-Benz Auto Salon.

You can get to the museum by public transport. Depending on the carrier and the route, the buses stop at different stops: “Kauno IX forto muziejus” (“Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum”) (in the territory of the museum), “Devintas fortas” (“The Ninth Fort”) (in the highway) or “9-ojo forto muziejus” (“The Ninth Fort Museum”) (Vandžiogalos Street).

NOTE: If you get off in the bus stop “9-ojo forto muziejus” (“The Ninth Fort Museum”) (near the shop ŠILAS), you need to come back on foot to the highway Kaunas-Klaipėda and cross the underground passage.
