For those planning to visit the museum, we recommend:

• dress warmer as it is cool in the museum;
• wear comfortable footwear;
• keep your visitor’s ticket until the end of your visit;
• book the guided tours in advance.

Visitors to the memorial park and the museum are welcome to:

• get acquainted with the museum’s exhibition after purchasing a visitor’s ticket;
• take a stroll in the memorial park and see the works of art;
• take some photos or videos of your visit and share your impressions on social networks.

Please note that the following is forbidden when visiting the memorial complex and the museum:

• to walk dogs and other pets;
• to consume alcoholic beverages;
• to litter and pollute water bodies;
• to climb on the roofs of the museum, the monument in memory of the victims of Nazism and the memorial plaques;
• to film and/or photograph using professional equipment for commercial or other non-personal purposes without prior permission;
• to build bonfires and set up tents;
• to use fireworks, confetti and other polluting and hazardous products;
• to swim or fish in the fire protection water body within the museum;
• to leave children unattended;
• to eat and/or drink in the exhibition areas.

The territory of Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum is a memorial site: in 1941-1944 approximately 50 thousand people were killed here. Please respect the memory of those killed, observe the rules of peace and order, and do not take photographs of your wedding, cars or other inappropriate objects at the memorial site.
