The exhibition will be open from August 22 to September 20, 2026.

During a visit to the Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum, students from the Juozas Grušas Art Gymnasium in Kaunas learned about the history of the Holocaust, analysed human rights violations, and experienced a wide range of emotions. An important part of the educational experience was the students’ active participation in educational activities and events led by museum educators. The interactive activities held in the authentic location, revealing the tragedy of the Holocaust and efforts to preserve humanity, encouraged students to reflect on moral responsibility, the courage not to remain indifferent, and inspired their creative work. 

The exhibition invites viewers to remember the painful events of history and to reflect on their responsibility in the present. Through their works, the students convey the idea that memory is not merely the preservation of the past, but a daily choice to respect human dignity, foster tolerance, and resist hatred, discrimination, and indifference. 

The drawing exhibition is the final part of the international TOLI (The Olga Lengyel Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights) project, carried out from 2023 to 2026.
